This is risk assessment based. Under the latest Health and Safety at Work laws all staff who drive a vehicle as part of their work must be risk assessed and trained / coached accordingly, to use their vehicle safely.

Our Fleet Driver Courses are flexible and will be fully tailored to the needs of your company vehicle drivers. Each individual will be licence checked, then the vehicle checked for legality and safety. On road driving will then be risk assessed, the driver then coached as needed and risk assessed again. At the end of the course a written report will be produced. This report will give the employer an upto date 'driving risk profile' on their employees.This can then be kept on file as proof of compliance with HSE laws and your employers 'duty of care' for your staff. It will also highlight any further training needs, if required. It is recommended that this is carried out yearly or when the driver changes to a different type of vehicle. Also, this should be part of the recruitment / training process for any new employees who will drive as part of there new job role.
