If you are looking to gain a Private Hire or Hackney  Licence, then it is advisable to take professional lessons prior to taking the DSA Driving Assessment.

Private Hire - Mini Cab   from £30 per Hour

As part of the Licencing process many Councils or Licencing Authorites will require you to prove that you are a safe and competant driver. You must show an above average performance behind the wheel in keeping with someone who will be charging money for their driving skills and services. You will therefore need to pass the DSA Private Hire Assessment.

Training for this test will be carried out on a 1 to 1 basis, in your own suitable vehicle and will be structured to your skills and needs. We can also carry out a mock test which will include a written score sheet for your drive.

Chauffeur Training   

£95 Half day   £185 Full day

If you are looking to start in this business you may still need to pass the DSA Private Hire Assessment. It is also advisable to take additional training for this type of work.      

The training will include a wide range of topics which include; Car and Client safety and security, Etiquette, Proffesional car cleaning etc. This is as well as advanced and defensive driving skills. It is recommended that once you have taken your training, that you consider taking and passing either the IAM or RoSPA Advanced Driving Tests. This will greatly increase your personal saleablity with a proven and recognised driving qualification.
